“Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.” – Anais Nin
We all need friends and they are important part of our life. We should feel lucky to have friends because friendship is not just a relationship but it is a gift from god. We should cherish it and we should value it as the most precious thing of our life. The most important point is that we do not choose our blood relationship but we can choose friends. I want to dedicate this article to all friends.
“A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart, and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words.” – Donna Roberts
“A friend is like a teddy bear; you hug it and cry to it when you’re sad, you talk to it when you feel alone! It doesn’t matter what color, size or condition it’s in, it’s there for you no matter what”. We all know that if we have made mistake then we will first go to our friend. We have trust that they will stand up with us even though sometimes they are not able to solve our problems. They are like pillars of our life, if you move any of them then you will fall down.
“Friendship is a precious gift that can’t be bought or sold. Its value is greater than mountains made of gold. If you shall ask God for a gift be thankful if he sends not diamonds pearls or riches but the love and trust of friends.”
Most of us find our good friends during school or college. It is very obvious that college life becomes memorable because of friends. All the fun things we do with them like, bunking the lectures, flirting with girls, watching movies, playing cricket, going for night out and many other things makes life wonderful. If you are stressed out because of the break off with girl friend then a true friend will put his hand on your shoulder and will say “Do not worry buddy, you will find another one”. All this memories makes you smile when you are lost in the corporate world to earn money and fame but then you realize that you are missing something.
“One’s friends are that part of the human race with which one can be human”. George Santayana
Everything happens for a reason. Friends also enter into your life for some purpose. They wipe your tears when you are in trouble and they also celebrate the biggest happiness of your life. Sometimes they are your mentors and sometimes they want guidance from you. A good marriage is based on the friendship between husband and wife. To the whole world you might be something else but to your friends, you are just yourself. Sometimes he make you feel like part of his family only and sometimes he makes you feel like the most special person in the world.
“Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for a while, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never, ever the same”. – Flavia Weedn
Many a times we don’t keep contact with friends because of our ego. We realize the value of friends only after they are gone from our life. Friendship is the relationship where you do not have to be formal. It is all about dissolving your ego and becoming what you really are. We try to search for new friends on social networking site but do not talk to friends who stay in the same building. On this friendship day call your old friends with whom you are not in contact from long time. Cherish old memories and laugh on your stupid mistakes. Give a tight hug to your close friends, just to say thanks to them for being there.
